Productively Delusional | JUSTIN THOMAS VARGHESE | TEDxCAIAS
Jun 3, 2026
Why do the most brilliant plans so often fail to launch, while the most absurd ideas end up changing the world? For award-winning tech innovator and entrepreneur Justin Thomas, the dividing line between ordinary execution and extraordinary impact comes down to a single, unexpected ingredient: delusion. In this sharp, fast-paced talk, Justin breaks down why waiting for absolute certainty is a trap that creates the "Overthinking Genius"—someone who plans perfectly but rarely moves. Drawing from his high-stakes journey as a two-time International Innovation Accelerator champion competing on global stages, Justin introduces a blueprint for radical self-reinvention. He separates "destructive delusion" from what he calls "productive delusion"—a mindset backed by relentless effort, fueled by data, and intentionally setting goals large enough to feel slightly embarrassing. By redefining failure as a temporary data point rather than a final verdict, Justin offers a disruptive perspective on how the next generation can rise. This talk is an urgent call to action to stop waiting for permission, stop over-strategising from the sidelines, and build the audacity to act before the world thinks you're ready. Justin Thomas is a 4th semester BCA student at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies, Bengaluru, with a distinguished record in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. A two-time International Innovation Accelerator champion and two-time National Venture Startup champion, Justin has consistently competed and won at the highest levels, representing his institution against delegates from China, Singapore, Hong Kong, and across 20 Indian states. He is also a nationally ranked participant of the CEO Vanguard Program and a National Research Award recipient. A software generalist and cloud-native developer, Justin builds at the intersection of technology and real-world impact, driven by the belief that the most extraordinary outcomes belong to those who act before the world is ready for them. The Anxiety Alchemist: Turning Fear into Your Greatest Asset | SUMIIT TRIPATHY | TEDxCAIAS
Jun 3, 2026
What if the very thing that paralyses you is actually the key to your greatest strength? For public speaking coach and entrepreneur Sumiit Tripathy, the road to authority didn’t begin with natural eloquence—it began in the tight grip of extreme social anxiety. In this compelling and transformative talk, Sumiit strips away the myth that great communicators are born, not made. He takes us on his ten-year journey of radical self-reinvention, detailing how he broke through the silent prison of anxiety to pitch to multi-millionaire founders, author two books, and build a coaching platform that has empowered hundreds of senior executives to speak with power. By redefining what it truly means to be confident, Sumiit provides a psychological blueprint for anyone who has ever felt overlooked, hesitant, or terrified to voice their ideas. He reminds us that the world doesn't need perfect, unshakeable speakers; it needs authentic individuals who have the courage to rise above their fears and claim their right to be heard. He is a public speaking coach, and my mission is to help people feel confident and authentic when they speak up and share their ideas with the world. Achievements: 1. Author of two books: Permission to Exist and The Average Man 2. Conducted workshops in collaboration with Toastmasters 3. Worked as a creator with brands like Savaari 4. Pitched to founders with a net worth of 100 Crore+ 5. Coached 300+ founders and senior professionals 6. Been a public speaker for 10 years 7. No estás estancado, estás aferrado y te está costando | Joselyn Torrealba | TEDxPunta Cana Women
Jun 3, 2026
Beyond Buildings: How Architecture Shapes Human Behavior and Ecology | Ankit Anil Parekh | TEDxSVNIT
Jun 3, 2026
Parekh argues that the true outcome of architecture is not the physical structure, but human behavior—how we live, gather, and belong. He concludes with the powerful thought that we do not simply shape buildings; instead, our buildings shape how we live on Earth Recognized as Gujarat’s Most Innovative Architecture Firm of the Year 2020, Parekh challenges conventional thinking by prioritizing living systems over preconceived ideas, delivering precise, proportional designs that transform cities and spaces for professionals, educators, and communities. Ankit Anil Parekh is a visionary architect and founder of Parekh Collaborative, focusing on large-scale natural applications and bio-resilient urban design. Ritrovarsi nell'era digitale | Eleonora Laudisa | TEDxLegnano
Jun 3, 2026
Jun 3, 2026
In this talk, astrophysicist Selçuk Topal explores the invisible connections between humanity and the universe through the lens of science. From the origins of the cosmos to the vast regions that remain beyond our observation, from the shared history of our atoms with the stars to the limits imposed by the ongoing expansion of the universe, he takes the audience on a journey that reveals how small our current knowledge remains compared to what is still unknown. While emphasizing the guiding role of science in humanity’s quest to understand its place in the cosmos, he discusses how approaches lacking scientific foundations, such as astrology, often misinterpret this connection. Ultimately, he reflects on human life as a brief yet meaningful pause between infinities in a universe that stretches from eternity to eternity. Selçuk Topal is an astrophysicist and science communicator whose research focuses on molecular gas in galaxies, star formation, and galaxy evolution. Through his non-profit science communication initiative, Gelecek Uzayda (“The Future Is in Space”), which he has led since his doctoral years at the University of Oxford’s Department of Astrophysics, he aims to build an accessible, trustworthy, and engaging bridge between science and society. Over the years, he has appeared on hundreds of television programs, written popular science articles, delivered numerous seminars and public talks, and produced digital content that has reached millions of people. He is the author of From Chaos to Cosmos: The Story of the Universe and the creator and presenter of the documentary series Incredible Universe. The central goal of his science communication work is to contribute to a society that values curiosity, critical thinking, the common good, and an awareness of humanity’s scientific connection to the universe. He also seeks to encourage local governments and decision-makers to invest more actively in science-and-society initiatives. An alumnus of the University of Oxford and a member of both the Oxford Union and the Royal Astronomical Society, Selçuk Topal is an astrophysicist specializing in galaxy evolution and molecular gas. He currently serves on the board of Turkey’s national observatories and continues his research in collaboration with international teams. Since 2013, he has led the "Gelecek Uzayda" (Future is in Space) initiative to promote scientific thinking on a global scale. As the creator, writer, and presenter of the documentary series İnanılmaz Evren, Topal also contributes to popular science media as a consultant and scriptwriter. A finalist for the Study UK Alumni Awards and a two-time finalist in astronaut selection processes, his work uniquely bridges the gap between high-level academic research and impactful public engagement.
Moments that Multiplied | Raghunandan Saraf | TEDxGoodShepherdIntlSchool
Jun 3, 2026
Raghunandan speaks with energy and insight about how ordinary choices can create extraordinary ripple effects. Drawing from powerful stories—from Gandhi’s defining moment on a railway platform to lessons from innovators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers—he explores how small decisions shape larger outcomes. Through his simple ABCD framework—Awareness, Big Picture, Compounding, and Discipline—he breaks down how meaningful impact begins. Reflecting on his own journey of starting a business from a small town, he shares lessons on clarity, courage, and community. His message is simple yet powerful: you do not need to change the world overnight; you simply need to make one intentional decision and begin your ripple today. Raghunandan Saraf is the Founder and Owner of Saraf Furniture, one of India’s leading direct-to-consumer solid wood furniture brands. Hailing from Sardarshahar, Rajasthan, he represents a family legacy deeply rooted in furniture manufacturing and exports. In 2009, he founded Insaraf.com with a clear vision: to bring handcrafted Sheesham wood furniture directly to Indian consumers by eliminating intermediaries. Under his leadership, the brand has evolved into a nationally recognised name, offering thousands of products through experience centres in major cities and a robust digital platform. Small Choices Shape Us Before our Achievements | Nithin Jayaraj | TEDxGoodShepherdIntlSchool
Jun 3, 2026
Nithin’s talk explores the idea that the most meaningful transformations in life are often not driven by grand plans or dramatic moments—but by small, repeated actions. Through personal stories of leaving behind a structured path in business and unexpectedly finding himself isolated during the pandemic, he reflects on how disruption became an opportunity for reinvention. What began with simple routines, improvised workouts, and everyday habits gradually evolved into a new lifestyle and purpose. Drawing from his own journey and observations, Nithin challenges conventional ideas about motivation and success, reminding us that change does not begin with inspiration—it begins with repetition, and the smallest choices we make today create the ripples that shape who we become tomorrow. Nithin is a traditional fitness trainer and a pioneer in bringing Indian strength tools to the mainstream. He founded Shredded Farmer in 2017 to revive traditional training and reshape India’s fitness culture. Having trained over 10,000 clients and built a 110k+ community, he specialises in tools like the Gada, Persian meels, and Sumtola, focusing on functional strength, joint resilience, and sustainable fitness that creates a lasting ripple of impact. Why Your Hardest Seasons Make You Irreplaceable | KARTHIK CHANDRAKANT | TEDxCAIAS
Jun 3, 2026
We live in an era where artificial intelligence can effortlessly write our code, analyse our complex data, and automate our daily workflows. But in a world rapidly adapting to automated perfection, what is it that actually makes a human being irreplaceable? In this powerhouse TEDx talk, elite AI practitioner, author, and tech leader Karthik Chandrakant strips back the glamour of high-tech algorithms to reveal a deeply personal story of human resilience. Despite leading major AI initiatives at Amazon and scaling massive data science teams globally but in the trenches of a devastating professional and personal crisis. Navigating extreme corporate lows, legal battles, and hospitals during his darkest season, he managed to write an extensive 45,000-word manuscript—a book that almost wasn't—discovering that his resolve didn't just save his work; it saved his life. Seamlessly blending his tech expertise with profound life lessons, Karthik redefines the boundaries of human capability. He introduces the transformative W.A.R. framework (Within, Anchor, Resolve) as a tool to rise when your world completely breaks. This talk is a vital reminder that your struggles aren’t glitches in your system—they are the exact wiring that makes you completely irreplaceable. Karthik Chandrakant is an AI practitioner with over 14 years of global experience building AI-driven products, platforms, and Data Science solutions. He began his career as a Data Scientist at Mu Sigma, solving complex business problems for Fortune 100 companies. He later joined Infogain before moving to Amazon.
