Fearless! | Talia Abou Dagga | TEDxASCSNAS Youth
Open in Clue About this video
What if fear isn't stopping you because you're weak—but because you're standing at the edge of growth? In this inspiring TEDx Youth talk, Talia explores one of the most universal human experiences: fear. Whether it's speaking in public, chasing a dream, taking a risk, or stepping outside our comfort zones, fear often convinces us to stay small, remain silent, and avoid uncertainty. Drawing from personal experiences, powerful reflections, and timeless wisdom, Talia challenges the belief that courage means being fearless. Instead, she argues that true courage is acting despite fear. Through stories of self-doubt, growth, and resilience, she demonstrates how confidence is not something we are born with—it is something we build every time we choose action over avoidance. This talk is a reminder that fear will always exist, but so will our ability to overcome it. On the other side of fear lies growth, opportunity, discovery, and the person we have the potential to become. Talia is a very confident and well-spoken student, who enjoys public speaking. She has been participating in MUNs and enjoys giving speeches at ceremonies and major events. Talia's bright idea of redefining what is possible encouraged her to become a TEDx ASCSNAS Youth speaker and take the stage this year. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
