Hello everyone. Today I have this Eheim clearscape set to build. And my favorite thing about this is it's not your regular 60 piece size. It's deeper.
It's actually 60x35x35. And I have the perfect heartscape to use this depth. So bear with me. A little backstory. Uh about a year ago when we received the shipment
of hardscape from Riverest, there was some strange pieces mixed in with the iron wood. Now, this is clearly something different than what we usually use as iron wood, but I had to save these. It's just a really interesting texture.
It's very, very thin. And today is the day to actually use these. My main idea with this main piece and all the rest is way smaller. So, I'm going to have to figure those out on
the go. But with this is to build a wall something like this and trust the rigidity of this which is virtually non-existent. So, put this in like this and build up the
soil behind it and have like a lower part in the front and the really high soil in the back and carpeting and so on. The way I put these pieces away, the sign on the box says wood iwagumi 60p.
So that's that's what this is going to be. Basically, I'm going to build something like a mountain iwagumi, but with wood only. I'm hyped and scared at the same time on how this going to go.
I really need to figure out the perfect angle on how this is going to actually stand. I think this is going to be the angle. I want to really pull up the middle side is going to come up as well.
So that's what's going to give me depth. It actually comes out perfectly in like 1/3. The top is pulling downwards, which again works for depth. I just need to make sure that this actually stands. Going to need something to weigh down with.
And uh I picked a few pieces of sensei stone um because it almost broke the glass. That was fun. This has flat surfaces so I can actually put it down and then glue the wood to it.
As always, I'm trying to work in a way that it it sort of stands on its own because this way I can avoid extra tension on it later on. I'm going to need glue and the fluffy stuff. Now I need to fix the flexibility of the wood
itself. Good. It's not visible from the front. Perfect. I was worried that the the liquid glue is going
to leak through these cracks, but it didn't. Now the flex is gone. Actually, this is a stage where the extra 5 cm depth comes in handy because this piece of wood would actually be almost touching the glass right now if it
was a normal 60p. But I still have space where I'm going to be able to put plants. And actually, I'm thinking about raising it slightly, putting another piece of rock down here that it stands on.
So, yeah, I I have this flow going towards the back. Actually, the whole layout is going to have like a strange physical twist. Not sure how to put it, and I don't clearly
see it myself yet. Okay, this seems to be a bit like unstable at the moment. But what I'm going to do, which we never do, and it's very important that I don't forget now, is
