Ever wondered how a piano is made? We recently had the opportunity to visit the Steinway & Sons piano factory, where they have been handcrafting world-class pianos since the 1870s. We spoke with the dedicated craftspeople and artisans who shape, tune, and perfect these instruments by hand—many of whom have been working at Steinway for decades. It was incredible to get a first hand look at the making of a Steinway Piano. We also visited the New York Philharmonic to hear more about what makes a Steinway Grand Piano the gold standard of pianos. Watch to learn what makes these instruments so special!
