What if the biggest risk in life isn't failure—but succeeding in the wrong direction? This talk challenges the belief that hard work alone leads to success, revealing why clarity about who you are, where you're going, and what truly matters is the foundation of better decisions. Through a simple but powerful framework, you'll discover how clarity cuts through the noise, aligns your actions, and transforms your future. Pastor Tosin Komolafe is the Global Lead Pastor and Apostolic Head of Epicenter Church, Yola, Nigeria. He is widely recognised as an erudite teacher, dynamic speaker, spiritual leader, compassionate pastor, counsellor, musician, best-selling author, a mentor to many across the globe and a “Make It Happen” man. He is joyfully married to Pastor Jennifer Tosin-Komolafe, and together they are blessed with three children. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Honors) from the American University of Nigeria and a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering (Honors) from WorldQuant University, Illinois, USA. He has over 18 years of experience in Ministry. Pastor Tosin is driven by a clear purpose: to proclaim the perfection, excellence, and loveliness of Jesus Christ—the Gospel of God’s Grace—to a generation often burdened by the weight of legalism. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
