<p>If you're interviewing, you might be asked by a recruiter if you are interviewing with anyone else. Are you meant to say you have tons of interviews in order to seem in demand, or should you say they are your only choice to show how interested you are?</p><p>In this week’s episode, Sarah and Emma discuss what to say when recruiters or hiring managers ask if you're interviewing with other companies. We're going to discuss why they ask the question, the different ways you can answer it, and how that's going to affect how you get off the phone with that recruiter.</p><p>🏀 Shoot Your Shot - Shoutout to Sarah&nbsp;</p><p>“Hi girls! I wanted to thank you for your podcast, you changed my whole mindset of interviews! My I had a few in the past few weeks and they were all soo different from the last. My interview last week was awful! The lady was so rude, was talking to me like I was in a disciplinary meeting.. I usually would have gotten upset and flustered, but instead I knew this was just as much for me as it was for them! So I started asking her questions, turned the tables and she soon stopped trying to walk over me. I made the call myself and called the recruiter who arranged the meeting that I didn’t vibe and have no interest in working with her. Apparently the other interviewers loved me and so no bridges burnt there thankfully!</p><p>My last interview went for over an hour! I loved their attitudes and asked them loads of questions that I’d prepared thanks to you girls ❤️ they called me an hour afterwards to say they loved me and when could I start!!</p><p>It’s such a relief, I’ve been in an awful toxic work place the past few years and am on maternity leave and was dreading going back.. so I wanted to thank you (again!) for all your support and advice.
