Are dating Apps already doomed to disappear ?
About this episode
In the UK alone, around 1.85 million people actively use Tinder, one of the leading platforms, and most users spend over an hour a day on dating apps. Despite this daily engagement, however, many are growing disillusioned with the experience. The time spent doesn’t always lead to successful connections, and frustration with online dating is on the rise. Fatigue and disappointment are common reactions to the world of online dating. A recent survey revealed that over half of UK singles (53%) prefer meeting potential partners in person rather than using dating apps. Among younger users, disillusionment is particularly strong, with more than half of Gen-Z (57%) reporting that they’ve abandoned dating apps in favor of traditional ways of finding love.
