What We Tell Graduates is Upside Down | Loïc Maller | TEDxLuxembourgCity

You walk into a room and forget why you came in. Psychologists call it the Doorway Effect. Loïc Maller thinks it might be the key to how we treat an entire generation. We have built a culture that celebrates the decided and worries about the uncertain. So when young people finish school, we rush them through the first door they find. In this warm and personal talk, Loïc argues for the opposite: the courage to stand still in the corridor, try the doors, and find out who you actually are before choosing one. I am Loïc Maller, a Luxembourgish media design student at the Rheinische Hochschule Köln, passionate about creating and functional design. I have collaborated on projects for the WDR and the Universität Bonn, bringing ideas to life. I aspire to deliver thoughtful and honest design, always looking for new creative challenges. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
