How giving free haircuts taught me to connect with anyone | Joshua Coombes | TEDxIbiza
Clue'da aç Bu video hakkında
Joshua felt part of a culture that was increasingly more disconnected, until he found a simple, human way to push the needle in the other direction. From a chance encounter one day to founding a global movement, his talk touches on kindness as a cultural force and rebuilding connection in an age of isolation. Joshua is a British speaker and author. For the past decade, he's worked in cities around the world, giving haircuts to men and women experiencing homelessness, amplifying their voices, and founding a kindness movement – Do Something For Nothing - in the process. His message of empathy, vulnerability, and presence comes at an important time in our culture. It serves as a reminder that we can all make a difference in our own way and that small actions can bring about broader change. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
