Bu bölüm hakkında
This week’s guest is with one of the UK’s leading scientists, immunologist Dr. Jenna Macciochi, who is also a mum of twins. This is an incredibly powerful episode about the tension between motherhood and work. So if you have ever felt pulled in multiple directions, then this episode is for you. It is in two halves. The first half is very personal from Dr. Jenna. She shares so courageously and honestly about her experience with burnout and how it was the start of a total realignment of her priorities. I found it incredibly inspiring and thought-provoking. I think you are going to love what Dr. Jenna shares. The second half is from her professional expertise, about winter bugs and what we can all be doing to stay as well as possible this winter. We chat about: What can happen if we don’t look after our health The tension between motherhood and work How to use boundaries to reconcile this tension What to do to avoid getting ill this winter What to do if you do get ill And the answer to the question we all are asking: Is it true that we are all going to be more susceptible to winter bugs because we have been in lockdown and isolation? As always, we continue the conversation over on Instagram, so come and join us there.
