#4 BLM - Ms Dhu

<p>This month in our Black Lives Matter series, we discuss the death of Ms Dhu. During the two day's Ms Dhu spent in police custody in Western Australia, she was dropped to the floor, lifted by her hands and feet, and another prisoner was dragged into her cell to stare at her. She went through all of this while being verbally abused and suffering from sepsis. She died of preventable causes aged just twenty-two, while a white officer stood over her saying she was "faking it". Episode 169 - The Toolbox Killers: Lawrence Bittaker &amp; Roy Norris

<p>On Halloween night 1979, 16 year old Lynette Ledford was on her way home from a party when she vanished. <p>The US military has a rape problem; 20% of women who enlist are sexually assaulted or harrassed. </p><p>The US military also appears to have a murder problem, because a distrubing number of women who have been victims of 'command rape' are dying in mysterious circumstances.</p><p>Vanessa Guillen was a 20 year old solider stationed at Fort Hood, Texas and on 22 April 2020 she vanished. 6 weeks later her burned, dismembered and concrete encased remains were found.
