Good morning. Um, welcome back. This is it. This is the grand finale, the final day. So, thanks so much for everyone who've made it this
far. Uh, it's been a very long, arduous journey, but hopefully it was also enlightening and inspiring. Um, just to let you know, we'll probably run over today.
We'll probably finish at 4:00 today. So, if some of you need to run before then, it's fine. Okay? But, but I want to give us time to fully
explore Divine Comedy um and engage in a process of reflection. Um so, uh we'll probably run a bit, we'll probably run over. Okay.
So uh before I begin, any questions from yesterday or comments or ideas or any dreams you might have had yesterday? Uh yes. Uh I'm uh like yesterday we talked about like you
said you said nature doesn't equals to God, right? I'm still a little bit confused about like what what it actually means. Okay. So, nature in Dante's understanding, it is just natural laws
which includes physics, right? It's the law of gravity. Um, and these natural laws create the world that we live in today. And what these natural laws are just what, right?
The law, the laws of chemistry, biology, physics. Um, but that's not what God is. Okay? God is entirety of the cosmos. So even though um we think that the natural laws
are the end all be all, they're not because there's spiritual planes. Okay? Uh there's our soul and that's governed by divine laws. Okay?
So you need to be able to differentiate between natural laws and spiritual laws. And so maybe in natural law um um the earth circles the sun but in spiritual law uh the sun circles the circles the earth.
Okay. And in uh natural law maybe God is nowhere but in spiritual law God is everywhere. Okay. So there's a major economy between these two.
Okay. Any more questions? Uh, yes. >> This is not from yesterday, but um I'm wondering what is Lucifer doing in the last layer of hell?
If he just um stays still, what's the purpose of he being there? >> He's there to cry. He's there to feel eternal regret and remorse for betraying God.
Um so, uh we had a discussion of the angels and there were a lot of things I got wrong. Um, and I did more research and there was a very interesting comment on YouTube that I found very helpful. But the idea is this, God creates both angels and
humans with free will. The difference though is that angels are perfect from the beginning. So they know uh so they are beyond time and space.
They know the past, the present, and the future. And with their free will, they're able to make the perfect choice. And once they make the and but and it's only a one-time choice.
