About this episode

What is World Cleanup Day? Thanks for asking!  World Cleanup Day is held annually on the third Saturday of September all over the world. This year it falls today, on September 18th. The global initiative was launched by the Let’s Do It Foundation, a nonprofit association, and the aim is to combat pollution through community clean-ups. Created in 2008 in Estonia, the association is a certified member of the UN Environment Programme. But why Estonia? What does a community clean-up mean? What kind of waste are we talking about? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions! To listen to the last episodes, you can click here: What is the #QuitMyJob trend? What is a Tiny House? What is tokenism?
