In January 1982, Lynette Dawson, a loving wife and mother, vanished from the suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Her husband, Chris Dawson, a former professional rugby player and local celebrity, insisted that she left voluntarily. Lyn’s family and friends initially believed his story but as the years passed with no contact from Lyn, their suspicions of foul play grew. It wasn’t until decades later that a true crime podcast called The Teacher’s Pet reignited public interest in the case.
