10 Things Thierry Henry Can’t Live Without

Hi guys, this is Thierry Henry, and these are my 10 essentials. [ambient music] [camera clicks] [graphic beeps] So my first essential, yeah, my passport. Where do you go without it?

[Interviewer] What was the most chaotic travel day of your career? Going to Faroe Island. It was windy, we couldn't land. We stayed over at the airport for maybe eight to

nine hours and then we had to land Norway to make sure that we could go and make the game. We won, but you still have some footage about we landed sideways. It was weird.

[upbeat music] I need to have my hoodie. It's a comfort thing for me since I'm young. If I don't have anything to do during the day or whatever, I'm wearing a tracksuit. You know, I like my hoodie, I like my hats.

I like my cap, I like my beanies, it's comfort. You wanna feel like you are relaxed before training, after training, that's me. But you can't go on TV like that, 'cause, you know, apparently you're not supposed to judge a book by

it's cover, but we do all the time. I'm not going to go to someone's wedding in a tracksuit, am I? When you wear a suit, you know, you're not comfortable. That's a lie, if someone says it's comfortable.

If you're comfortable with what you like, then wear it. [graphic beeps] [lively music] Yes, pretty simple for me, I don't like to disturb people. Make sure that you, you know, when you make your phone call or watch a video that you don't disturb

people. Some people forget about them sometimes. In the Caribbean we listen to Zouk, and the best group ever is Kassav. So whatever Kassav song, I will always have that before

a game. Any song will bring me back to our family, having dinner and the party and we're all dancing. I can mix it also with some hip hop sometime it depends, but that will be more in the dressing

room and what not. But on the bus, going to the stadium, it was always, always some music. They didn't allow music in a dressing room when I was younger, especially the senior players.

So when I arrived in England, then I was like, "Oh, you can put music in a dressing room, really, without anyone complaining?" That was cool, but early days I couldn't do it. [graphic beeps] [mellow upbeat music] So my next essential is

Arsenal hat or cap. You know, like in Europe, sometimes ex players or whatever don't often show where they played or stuff like that. But now I have one and I usually wear it when I go on holiday and that's something I always

carry with me now. You know, it's very American, shall I say, you know guys in America, when they go to university or something, they always wear the hoodie. They always have the hat or the jacket or whatever.

So yes, that's the team I support. So I wear the hat. I became a Arsenal fan obviously when I left the club, I didn't realize that when I was a player 'cause you play, but when you leave you kind of

like, oh that's my club. And so ever since, you know, I support the club and it just means everything really. [Interviewer] If you could relive one Arsenal moment for 10 minutes, what moment are you choosing?

None, it is what it is. I don't think about anything that I could and should have done or regret anything because it made me a certain way. Maybe I did something a different way I wouldn't have
